After many years of getting requests from pet owners, Hamster is finally in the works 🐹

This Level 1 pattern features simple stitches that add texture and patches of colour to bring this little guy to life. And those cheeks!

If you’ve been following along with my stories, I’m on a two week roadtrip with my husband and kids! This summer was our 10 year anniversary and we’re retracing our honeymoon route, final destination Trout Forest Music Festival in northwestern Ontario.

I found an old pic from when I was first working out the Lion design, and this year I’ve brought a new one - Tiger!

Last but not least, Snow Angel ❄️ This one just has my heart.

Even as an adult, I can’t resist lying down in a pristine blanket of snow. Making snow angels captures such a playful kind of winter joy where you forget how cold it is and become a kid again, even if just for a moment.

I hope stitching these ornaments brings you a similar kind of magic 🌟

Step into a tiny winter wonderland with Snow Globe! ❄️

Layer upon layer comes together to create a little world of rolling hills, evergreens, and a glowing cabin in the woods. The ornate base and French knot flurries tie the piece together.

It’s the most detailed ornament in the collection, with so much depth and texture to discover as you stitch. But thanks to the pre-cut felt pieces and all of my assembly tricks, it comes together easily ✨🪡

For those of you who stitched last year’s Advent Calendar, you might recognize this little friend. Elf was Santa’s secret counterpart, and one of my favourite of the hidden ornaments. I couldn’t resist bringing them back for Winter Wonder with a frosty makeover! They’re a little bigger than the original, but still cute as a button.

So plush and cozy, the Mitten reminds me of wandering through a Christmas market and finding the perfect pair of wool mitts upcycled from an old sweater 🌲

This one pieces together almost like a little puzzle as you layer the patchwork felt, and it was such a satisfying ornament to design. I think you’ll really enjoy stitching it!

Next up is Polar Bear 🤍

It was tempting to make this winter-themed collection all icy pastels, but when I was deciding what to do with the bear’s fur, nothing was quite working. That’s when I discovered a gorgeous golden wool in my sample drawer. It adds just the right amount of warmth and ties all of the colours together in a way that feels rich and elegant.

I live for those aha! moments during the design process ✨

❄️ The first reveal from this year’s Advent Calendar ✨

I built the entire collection around the theme of Winter Wonder, with snowflakes, flowers and stars appearing throughout as interchangeable motifs. Each ornament captures a different facet of winter, from snowy days and magical creatures to bundling up and embracing the chilly season.

I’ll be revealing five more ornaments before launch, while the remaining six will stay a surprise until you begin stitching 🪡
