As most know, our market has been closed since we lost our space at the Fundy Trail Mall in 2019. Sadly, as of today, October 20th there is still no appropriate space in Truro to host our wonderful vendors and customers every Sunday.
The good news is that the New Glasgow flea market will reopen November 1st with all Covid adherences in place. The owner and staff would like to invite anyone who is interested in more information regarding becoming a vendor in New Glasgow to come to a meet and greet on Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. @ 620 East River Road. Home of the Sunday market in New Glasgow! Come check out the flea! 😃

Please note!! The proposed flea market @ the old Costandi building on the 311 is not associated with us in any way. We viewed the property and found it did not meet the requirements necessary for a safe and viable market many weeks ago. Any questions at all feel free to inbox this page. As always, we remain and have been looking for a space in the Truro area. Thank you to our vendors for staying in touch via messenger and texting. There are many of you and only ONE of me! Sorry folks. Owner of the flea market did not approve the last place as a viable location for the market.
If you are interested in selling you may contact the New Glasgow flea market via Big Eagle Investment.
As manager, and with no market to manage; I have worked all summer to find a place for our flea family to come together every Sunday. This has been an unpaid job since May but one I take seriously as many of our vendors do this market for fun, social interaction and of course...added income. Although not giving up on finding a spot, I will ask that any questions or comments be sent privately to my inbox. Updates will be provided when there is something to share. One place fell through but another one being reviewed this week by our flea market owner and general manager! Sydney Flea Market also lost their space. So we aren't alone! Staying positive! 😁

We are still actively searching for a spot to house our market. Thank you for all suggestions. Each and every possibility has been called and has either not been available or will not meet the somewhat unique needs of our market. 7 500 to 10 000 square feet is a large space to find in Truro and area. 😊
The New Glasgow market is open every Sunday. Our vendors are eager to sell and many have goods they have picked up all summer. Go to Big Eagle Investment for any contact information please.

Sobeys has given the market the disappointing news that we will not have their mall to set up our market this fall. We have been looking for another space and hope to resume our market in September. More updates will be given as we know more.
Any questions can be inboxed directly to myself, Shelley, through this venue.
As usual with big corporations, no real reason was given other than new renters so I cannot answer any questions as to what or who will impede our rental space. Let's hope a new space can be found. Thank you so much!

Here we are at the end of this season. 🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑 9-1:30 tomorrow to see all the marked down prices on our vendors tables! $$$ Clearing out their stock to make room for picking up new goods over the summer to bring to our customers in September. 😊
Come in and try some great baking and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our flea market. We have new and used goods. Collections and wannabe collections!

We never know what could be coming in through the doors at the flea market which makes for most of the fun! The other part is shopping with our dedicated and friendly vendors who not only help you find a great item to flip (lots of pickers at our market) but they appreciate you shopping local!
Occasionally, we get a walk in just before we open. Last week it was a fly tying guy. 🐟🦈
