🎬 Ophelia’s Cut Friday — Edition #4!

This week, Ophelia is talking Hickory Hardwood Flooring 🌳 — one of the most distinctive hardwoods out there.

She covers everything from hickory’s incredible durability to its natural colour variation and character. Then she switches hats from flooring expert to interior designer and picks a BeautiTone paint colour from Home Hardware to pair with it. 🎨

Apparently producing and editing the video wasn’t enough — she’s choosing the paint now too. 😂

Hickory has character you just can’t fake. 👌

This Hickory floor was finished in our Timber stain, bringing out the natural variation, grain and movement that make hickory such a distinctive hardwood. The warm brown tone helps tie together the lighter and darker boards while still letting all that natural character show through.

And the floor wasn’t the only thing we finished — we also stained the client’s stair treads to match, creating a consistent colour from the flooring right through to the staircase.
