Arnel’s Mushrooms! 1970s vintage ceramic canister set with hand-painted mushroom designs. Very clean, muted neutral palette (tan/cream/brown) with subtle green accents. Fits beautifully into modern neutral cottagecore aesthetics. Locally made and has a sticker from Jennetts Cermics (Robins Cove, Twillingate). Has one small chip that I could see, shown in photos. Otherwise in excellent shape. $100 for the set.

Eastbound and down. Not totally confident in the weather but we’re headed to Blossom Antiques & Collectables in Benton for their first ever Swap Meet and Car Show.

Heading to St. John’s today with a truck load of antique crates, boxes and more. Priced to sell $20 and up. Few lanterns, couple nautical compasses, a neat Victorian frame, a washboard, a grub box, some bakerlite canisters and a few other odds and ends. Even a couple oil cans mixed in. In for a week and none of this is even listed on marketplace. If you’d like to take a gander, drop me a line.

Large (30x22) ornate mirror. Panelled back with plastic frame. Resembles gold giltwood with intricate acanthus leaf and egg-and-dart detailing, closely resembling styles from the Victorian era. Most likely 60s/70s manufactured by Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco), Dart Ind or Homco.
