The apple blossoms are starting to open and soon the lilacs will be open!!!!

Cosmos, calendula, poppies and nasturtiums planted to day. Hopefully they all grow! I did see a squirrel around the nasturtium plantings so will check to see if the seeds are still there.

We had more rain which equals mud… again….

But the good news is the grass is green the trees are leafing out and I’m sure somewhere there are flowers growing!

This text is a scam. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) explicitly warns that they do not send text messages containing links or asking you to click to log in.The CRA never uses SMS to initiate contact about assessments, refunds, or tax credits. Legitimate notifications are handled via mail or through your secure online account.How to protect yourself:Do not click the link: The URL canada.ca-ns.cfd is a fake (spoofed) site designed to steal your Social Insurance Number (SIN), banking information, and passwords.Delete the message: Do not reply to the text or use the "STOP" command, as this only confirms your number is active.Verify official notices: If you are genuinely concerned about your 2025 tax assessment, log in directly via the CRA My Account portal. The sun is shining, the sky is blue, it looks like a gorgeous day out there! Supposed to be 19C.

Time to look at the messy garden and get rid of the grass trying to take over….

Well, I just couldn’t help myself!!!! Spinning AND a mystery to solve…. It won’t arrive for a while but when it does come I will have to resist until the start of Tour de Fleece 2026, July 4th. It’s really not that far away…..

Oh my gosh! It’s raining and windy at this moment….

With Environment Canada canceling and issuing different alerts, here is the latest look at the situation across the province.

A significant portion of Northern Alberta is under a Rainfall Warning for 25-30mm of rain, with localized amounts up to 50mm possible beginning tonight and continuing into Friday. The warning also mentions that areas closer to the Saskatchewan border could see the rain switch over to snow on Friday.

To the south, a Wind Warning covers much of East Central and Southeastern Alberta for damaging wind gusts up to 100km/h beginning overnight and gradually weakening in the afternoon and evening.

There are also two areas that remain under a Special Weather Statement: Edmonton and along the Yellowhead Highway and the southeast corner of the province. Both of these areas can expect wind gusts up to 80km/h beginning early tomorrow morning and continuing through the day.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion!
