In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano. Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. The company started to spiral out of control a

nd as a last ditch effort Christina went to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Her greater vision is to provide women with the option to balance life and work by having the opportunity to work from home during hours that don’t disrupt the family lifestyle. Allison's It Girl Pants Review: Holy moly - these are officially my new favourite pants! The material is so incredibly comfortable with a bit of stretch to it as well! I love how comfortable the waistband is as there is elastic on the back portion of it! It has two side pockets and little pleats on the front as well! I am loving this style, the cropped wide leg style just looks so chic! I am wearing an XXL and they fit well, but I feel like I can easily wear an XL as well as there is quite a bit of stretch to the waistband! Can't wait to add these to my wardrobe!

Kim's It Girl Pants Review: These are THE pants! I love the wider leg, the tartan print and the all around fit of these! They are a cropped style pant that can be worn with heels, boots, sneakers. I love how cute and trendy I feel in them! They have pockets and a stretchy waistband. I am wearing the size small and although they fit, I will opt for a medium just to add a bit more comfort in the waistband area!

Christine's It Girl Pants Review: Classy, stylish, and edgy ~ rock these plaid pants with confidence and comfort! The cropped wide-leg style is perfect for ankle boots, or wear them with runners for more of a street-style vibe. The waistband is stretchy which allows for a comfortable, flattering fit. You can definitely dress up these pants with a classic button-up, or style them more casual with a graphic tee. I am in the size small and it’s the size I will buy!

Allison's As You Are Handbag Review: How fun is this little handbag! It is the absolute perfect size - not too big, but can still carry quite a bit! I love the zipper detailing - it really adds a bit of edge to this style. The strap is adjustable and detachable, so you can always get your perfect look!

Kim's As You Are Handbag Review: This size of bag is literally my favourite! It's not too big and bulky but it still fits a lot! I love that you can remove the strap to give you a cute oversized clutch-like bag as well! It's a padded style bag with a large fold over closure and both inner and outer zipper compartments.

Lisa Ryder's Just Imagine Puffer Vest Review: This puffer vest from ONLY is perfect for fall! Nice and light weight and not bulking which I find some puffer vests to be. I love the inside pockets because they are deep enough for a phone or your favourite beverage! The hood is nice and big and you can use the strings to make it fit smaller to keep the wind out!

I am wearing the size large which is my true size and I would prefer an XL which is what I usually order in Only outerwear.

Val Beauregard's Just Imagine Puffer Vest Review: Let me start by saying this vest is incredibly soft! Definitely hard to explain but for sure soft I love the BIG adjustable hood and the deep pockets. I didn’t notice but apparently the inside has a pocket as well! The bottom band and sleeve holes have a bit of a elastic band that stretches just a little bit but not a whole lot. I am wearing the size small which is a size up for me. If I had bigger breast (34A) and wanted to wear a nice thick hoodie I think I would have to size up 2x. Size up one for sure if you don’t have big breast and don’t plan on wearing it with a thick sweater. If you plan on wearing it open, sizing up by 1 is also good.

Allison's Just Imagine Puffer Vest Review: How cute is this puffer vest! It's the perfect fall layering piece to add on when it's chilly, but not quite ready for a jacket. It has a zip closure, hood with drawstrings, and the fabric is quite soft! There are two side pockets, but also two hidden pockets on the inside! Perfect for a phone or stashing a small wallet or keys! I found that this fit snug and I sized up to an ###L to get a comfortable zip.

Kendra is wearing the Just Imagine Puffer Vest in a medium, which is her perfect fit. She can zip it up easily and still fit a light layer underneath. She is wearing the size small in the Snap Into It Top which is a size down for her, since it is stretchy this size works well! She would wear a size medium for a less fitted option.
