50 Local Entrepreneurs Equipped.

That’s 50 people discovering that what they create has value.

It’s families earning income.

It’s confidence growing.

It’s neighbours supporting neighbours.

It’s a stronger local economy.

It’s a more connected community.

This past year, Ogden Market has equipped 50 local entrepreneurs and helped 7 launch businesses through Dream Academy.

Because when local people thrive, neighbourhoods thrive.

Community is built one entrepreneur, one relationship, and one opportunity at a time. 💛

“For us both as we have both grown up in the community I (Mike) moved into the community in 75 and Chantel was born in the community.

It’s nice to be able to participate and get back a part of that community. A lot of memories from when we were kids.

It’s a wonderful feeling being able to share our creations and what we do with not just the community of vendors at the market but also the community at large.”

Ogden is filled with people who have been rooted here for a long time. It is our pleasure to give our locals a place to call theirs ❤️

Seven Businesses.

At first glance, it might not sound like a big number.

But to us...

It’s seven people who chose courage over fear.

Seven neighbours who stopped saying,
“Maybe someday...”
..and started saying,
“I’m going to try.”

It’s seven people who discovered that the gifts they carry have value.

Seven families creating new sources of income.

Seven entrepreneurs contributing to the local economy.

Seven stories of confidence growing one small step at a time.

Dream Academy was never created simply to teach people how to start a business.

It was created because we believe every neighbour has something valuable to offer.

Sometimes all people need is someone to believe in them, a little coaching, and a community that says:

“We’ll cheer you on.”

This past year, seven local businesses have been launched through Dream Academy.

And while we’re celebrating seven businesses...

What we’re really celebrating is something much bigger.

People discovering purpose.

Communities discovering the gifts already living among them.

And a neighbourhood becoming stronger because more people are contributing.

Imagine what happens when it’s not seven.

Imagine seventy.

That’s the future we’re building.

“To me, Ogden Market is much more than just a place to sell. It is where I found the confidence to launch my small business.

I started selling my handmade crochet purses and accessories at the very first Ogden Market, surrounded by my three children. Since then, I have been welcomed by a beautiful community and supported by wonderful customers.

Because of this market, I’ve had incredible opportunities to grow, including participating in the Dream Academy Vendor Edition. I am deeply happy to be a part of this community.
