That's a wrap on September's 🩷 Pink 🩷 Plant BINGO!

Plant Nerds from as far as Orillia, Toronto + Whitby joined us at Slabtown C***r for 10 rounds of pink plants + prizes - y'all were an AMAZING group!

Plant BINGO! is now back in our shop, with a 🎃 Halloween Edition 💀 on Saturday, October 8. Prizes for best costume!

Every weekend in September we've got FREE samples of our delicious garden foods as part of Uxbridge's Trailicious celebrating local food!

This weekend is all about PICKLES - and in typical Boonies style, we make unusual products with the food we grow just 5 minutes from the shop:

I was 9 when I begged my parents for a teeny backyard veggie garden at my childhood home in Zephyr, just outside Uxbridge.

For almost 40 years, I've been obsessed with growing food + gardening.

Having a storefront on the main street in my hometown where I now get to share this passion is an absolute dream come true - it's hard to even articulate what it means, especially after my mental health collapse when I never (ever) thought I'd work again.

Gifting + sharing things I craft + grow is my love language.

These shelves filled with my food -

* grown from my hand-harvested seeds
* nurtured in my garden 3 minutes from the store or by Uxbridge farmers
* preserved in our shop kitchen by hard-working local women

- is my love letter + gift to Uxbridge.
