These oval natural rose quartz earrings offer an elegant drop look. Set in silver with Marajoara graphics, these earrings are absolutely gorgeous. Rose Quartz is the stone of universal love. It restores trust and harmony in relationships, encouraging unconditional love. Rose Quartz purifies and opens the heart at all levels to promote love, self-love, friendship, deep inner healing and feelings of peace.

Marajoara graphics was created by the indigenous tribes that inhabited the Brazilian island of Marajó (near Belém, in the state of Pará), during the pre-colonial period from 400 to 1400 AD.

Overall, the Marajoara graphics features decorative patterns with labyrinthine and repetitive designs, symmetric graphic traces in low or high relief, as well as grooves and applications. The drawings represent body parts or the whole animal, such as turtles, snakes, alligators and scorpions. The varying styles show that several different groups made up this Marajoara society.

Amazonia’s Roots comes to introduce the Amazon Forest to those who have never visited or who are interested in knowing more about the exotic flavors and products made with raw material from the Amazon.

The brand also rescues the affective memory of fellow countrymen who are now far away in different parts of the world. Like me, Monique Guerreiro, creator of the brand.

I was born in Belém - Pará, Brazil and I have been living in Vancouver, Canada for 9 years. I have always wanted to work with our rich culture in the State of Pará. The idea of bringing the Amazon to all of you started when my husband and I created an Instagram account and an YouTube channel, where he presents Canada's natural beauty and culture. That sparked the idea of putting my dream of working with Amazon products into practice.

Founded on September 22nd 2021, Amazonia’s Roots is committed to the involvement of small producers, as well as communities in the lower Amazon region. We have selected a variety of sustainable, recyclable, exotic products representing the culture of the State of Pará in the Amazon Forest.
