Today is 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆, and the theme this year is "Learning in the Great Outdoors"! 🌳📚
Is there anything better than sitting under a tree with a good book? It's maybe a little too cold for that today, but there's never a bad time to read up on how to save our "great outdoors", and learn more about nature & all the animals who live in it!

Family Literacy Day takes place every January 27th to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family. Since 1999, thousands of schools, libraries, literacy organizations and other community groups have taken part in the initiative.

Congratulations Peter!

The 2022 New Year Honours list has been announced and Peter Usborne has been made a CBE for ‘services to Literature’. Congratulations to Peter and thank you, on behalf of all the children who have grown up learning to read, and learning about the world, with your books and games.
