Being Jewish is a choice.

A quote says this choice wasn't available to jews throughout history and they are a race of people.

Any defence of the Jewish race is done with half-truths while others are dropping out of the Jewish race.
Exactly like the movie "Soul Man" starring C. Thomas Howell where the Harvard student says "he could always stop being black."

Certainly race means something other than the Jewish race intends.

Not a cycle it is strategy. Israel bargains by killing civilians when it wants to occupy more Palestine. Stops killing civilians to get peace (land). This strategy supported by foreign governments when billions of aid handed over.

Wonder if Facebook will end this account if truth to power violates it's account policies.

When Obama bailed out large banks, who later paid it back. That was like how those IMF and World Bank bail out countries. Both actions leave citizens poor while enriching Bank Executives and country elites.

The countries that have given income supports to its citizens put the money into its citizens.

Infrastructure development aside, when the World Bank gives money to countries it can do so by going directly to its working classes. Not the Nation's Treasury.

The IMF can give money to the countries for projects, the money can be converted to bonds that can be given to citizens that will directly benefit from the project.

Just as the Covid-19 money didn't enrich the elite future money from World bank or IMF can be given to citizens.

No trickle down economics. Obama's way enriched plenty of bank executives while foreclosing on ordinary homeowners.

I've visited fast food restaurants, gas stations, and convenience stores the past many years. Like people New to local neighborhoods, I still ask directions, no apps. The employees working at these places never know the local areas they work at. It is b/c they can't afford to live in the communities where these businesses are located.
If you use apps to help you find your way around and happen to stop in one of these businesses, ask the employees for directions to some place local. These jobs don't pay enough in living wages for local living. Local municipalities need to support local businesses by having affordable housing for the employees who work at these businesses.
What could this look like?
There are most likely rental housing within these jurisdictions and local governments can provide units below market rents to these employees. Local governments have tremendous power and control over how land is used in their jurisdictions. They can easily have land owners and landlords make available rental units for these employees at below market rents.
When the employee passed their 90 day probation period they must be offered a rental unit in the local rental unit that they can afford. What happens if the employee stops working at one of these local small businesses? They can still keep their rental unit given that they get another job in the local community, no employer should threaten to evict their employee to keep unrealistic work conditions.
Paying living wages is a real condition when offering employment to people. Employers are obviously paying the lowest wages they can get by with. When local communities reap benefits by having these businesses and good employees they need to provide housing to the employees that make these businesses run.

Corbyn must be in opposition because it is his duty. The requests that he asks for are totally unreasonable. Again I say it must be his duty. Those requests are ones made by somebody who knows absolutely nothing about International Trade. If he is over-reaching and hoping for a little less in the name of compromise on a trade-deal already reached, then he shouldn't be a representative of government. He should be driving an Uber and telling his passengers what he thinks about BREXIT, that is a more suitable situation for his opinions. These political moments don't happen often so it is exciting to see how badly it can go. The British government can't change the terms of the deal already reached. They will exit without a deal whether they want to or not. Those of voted to outlaw a No-deal Brexit have agreed to criminalize their own behaviour. Who will enforce their ruling? They need to go to jail for not ratifying May's deal.

The UK Parliament has narrowly voted to outlaw a no-deal Brexit, tying the hands of Prime Minister Theresa May as her efforts to break the political deadlock threatened to tear her party apart.
