Having operated in Chinatown for over 12 years i can say lack of empathy is a problem.

Complicated dynamic. Large amount of difficult situations condensed into a small area combined with lack of understanding, one can imagine why there is a lack of compassion. Sadly that attitude seems to be spreading.

Looking around at our world at the moment it would be nice to see more empathy. Even the most successful and wealthy suffer, no one is insulated from pain. Revelling in and defending cruelty is truly monstrous.

Kindness is free and makes both sides feel better.



Be good to yourself and others. Live a life that's benevolent.

Still depressed from selling my last 1506 the universe provides. A customer reached out saud he needed to service some gear and maybe sell some as well...

And to add to the surprise fully restored rt-909..

Set of classic walked in the door and sold the next day. Sadly didnt get a chance to explore those.

To add to the situation a long time client saud he wanted to switch out his speakers.

This fall we're going to do an introduction to audio For various groups And we've decided we need to do one for reel-to-reels as well

A few people have asked and I am just the worst at posting on social media and I do apologize for that.

These monoblock amplifiers are made by a company called vaic they're 52b and as far as We Know two sets of these are made in the early 2000s.

These are going into a purpose built listening bar conceived by my friend Thomas .amberandceleste fella behind Musette and Isetta.

Its coming to and is going to be called .kissa

Pretty early days but they've started the building and I have no idea when it's going to be done but the super talented
Is doing the interior.

I know it won't be overly serious and will bring a bit more sincerity more place to be than place to be seen.

That's all I've got on it now but I think it's going to be a really magical project and I'm super happy to be Consulting on it

And I know the and other sound curators will be involved.

Stunning 70s Gneiss top dining table by Bendixen Design of Denmark.

Gneiss is a coarse-grained metamorphic rock showing compositional banding, the minerals in gneiss are arranged into layers that appear as bands in cross section, this is called gneissic banding.

Truly a beast of a table, the design features occupy an era that precludes and otherwise inspired modern furniture in the 80s, 90s, and beyond.

The base of the table had been custom made by Bendixen for the original owners of the table, so you won't find another one with this base!
