was born in the kitchen of a small apartment in Vancouver, BC. Conceived around a love for fashion and high quality handmade goods, S&R Denim makes exceptional products to suit your needs. Our name comes from a personal belief that we are all looking for something in life. Working from our retail store and production shop on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC. We currently offer a variety of handcrafted standard and custom work aprons, as well as clothing and accessories.

As we shared last week: Tomorrow, July 31, 2026 is the last day to get a US order in before new tariffs hit.

I’ve spent thirteen years building this shop one apron at a time, and a lot of that time was spent building relationships with folks across the border who trusted us with their kitchens, their bars, their craft. I don’t want this to be goodbye. But I also can’t in good conscience ship you something that shows up with a bill I didn’t warn you about.

So if you’ve been meaning to order, this is the moment. Every apron is made by hand, to order, so we need what’s left of today and tomorrow to get yours built and across the border in time.

Handmade in Canada from 10oz Italian double shoulder cowhide, embossed with our botanical pattern and finished in cognac brown. Each one develops its own patina over time. Set of four, 4 inches round, fits any glass or mug. Built for daily use, made to last for years.

On August 19, a 50% US tariff takes effect on Canadian-made goods, including everything we cut and sew here on Granville Island. We’re a small shop. We can’t absorb a tariff that size, and we won’t ship aprons that show up at your door with a surprise duty bill for half their value. That’s not how we treat people.

So here’s where that leaves us: if the tariff sticks, we’ll likely have to pause shipping to the US entirely.

Every apron is made to order, so we need runway to build yours, ship it, and get it across the border before the deadline. That means all US orders need to be in by July 31. Ten days from now.

If you’ve had something sitting in your cart, or you’ve been meaning to replace an apron that’s given you years of service, this is the window. It may be the last one for a while.

Thirteen years of sending aprons south. We’re hoping this is a pause, not an ending. Either way, we’ll keep you posted, and the lifetime repair guarantee stands. It always has.
