was born in the kitchen of a small apartment in Vancouver, BC. Conceived around a love for fashion and high quality handmade goods, S&R Denim makes exceptional products to suit your needs. Our name comes from a personal belief that we are all looking for something in life. Working from our retail store and production shop on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC. We currently offer a variety of handcrafted standard and custom work aprons, as well as clothing and accessories.

Threading a machine is about two minutes of work and it decides whether the apron holds up.
Bobbin seated right, thread through every guide, tension set for the weight of the fabric. Miss one and the stitch looks fine for a few months, then it doesn’t.
We’ve been doing this on Granville Island since 2013. Eighty people, one room, every apron by hand.
