🌡️ Cold weather quietly steals your PSI.

Roughly 1 PSI for every 5–6°C the temperature drops. A mild October to a cold January can cost you 5–7 PSI without a single leak.

Check them cold, before you drive — driving heats the air and hides the problem.
Use the door jamb placard, not the number moulded into the sidewall. That one is the maximum, not the recommendation.

Underinflated tires wear the shoulders, run hot and burn more fuel.

Between 4/32" and 2/32" your wet stopping distance grows a lot while the tire still looks "fine." That gap is where most people get caught.
