The workshop behind Berwich has been in Martina Franca, Puglia, since 1975, making trousers for others long before the Berwich label went out in 2007. Cut and finished in Italy, down to the five-hole button that traces a W across the waistband.⁠

Phil Petter has made knits and little else since 1973, from a family workshop in Dornbirn, Austria. Merino, cashmere and fine cotton, worked in small batches by the same hands season after season. Come find yours.

Phil Petter has made knitwear and little else since 1973, out of a family workshop in Dornbirn, Austria. Merino, cashmere and fine cotton, worked in small batches by the same hands season after season. They call themselves quiet but outstanding. We would say the same.⁠
