Hammer 3 Collectibles needs your want lists Here is the secret origns of how it began to present. My dad worked at that store in the late 1950' to early 60's.

It started with my great grand father who owned a grocery store in the 1940's on the corner of West 4th Avenue and Cypress Street in Vancouver, BC. This store not only sold food, it also sold comic books, selling the golden-age to silver-age comic books in that era. My oldest sister started her Amazing Spider-man collection with the Amazing Spider-man # 6. She could of started with the # 1 which w

as still on the comic book rack, but didn't know better at that time. In the 1970's my grand mother took me down to china town on one of her visits to her friends place in one of the upper apartments there. Her friend pulled down from her shelf, some comic books to give me. I can remember, a Avengers Special # 2, a Mad Magazine and a golden-age Sub-mariner. I only took the Avengers Special. She also told us that there was someone going around door to door asking for comics and paper goods for paper drive at that time. In 1993 I started selling comic books and trading cards as a vendor at the Vancouver and Victoria Comic cons. At that time my logo name was "Fine Comics and Collectables" and then "HAMMERTIME Collectables" summited ads for my catalogs in the Comic Buyers Guide. In the late 90's when technology caught up via the internet. I started to buy and sell on ebay.com under the name hammer3. Currently my ebay store.
