Our first annual Forest Herb Walk was a wonderful success.

August is shaping up to be a busy month!

We'll be away from the North Bay Farmers Market the weekends of the 15th and the 22nd for the Enchanted Family Fun Fest and The Bay Block Party.

But we will be back at the North Bay Farmers Market August 29th.

We can't wait to see you at all these fun events!

Ghost pipe is a low dose herb that I rarely use, but I like to keep on hand in case of severe mental or physical anguish. Monotropa uniflora is a nervine to the forest that requires pine and russula mushrooms to live, because it cannot make its own food. If you decide to harvest this plant please be mindful that it is rare and never over harvest.
