And she hid under the frying pan.

Who wrote this? And why?
Heres what I found......
The rhyme actually dates back to medieval England. Historically, it was used by farmers who burned their fields after the autumn harvest. The poem was a warning to the ladybugs to escape the flames and save their larvae.
