A little while back I gifted the shop’s all-time Hops flower lover a collection of samples from all of last year’s sources and in return she gifted me her feedback ! Her absolute favourite after a blind tasting was the Hops currently in this blend- flowers grown by our beloved Compost Education Centre 🥰

In Aya’s words:

All nighter support glycerite was made for birth workers who are up all night supporting births or working overnight postpartum shifts- or for any other overnight shift workers. For new parents who are awake at night feeding their children (good to consult a herbalist or care provider if you are breast feeding though.) Heart to hara was formulated to bring harmony to the womb and bring softness to the heart. It can ease cramps, whether it be from menstruation or postpartum after-pains (though again, good to consult an herbalist first if you are breast feeding.) The Hara is the energy center around the womb in Japanese belief system. When ki (or qi) is flowing freely from the heart to hara, it brings grounding, lightness, and creative energy to our system.

Aya (she/they) is a local q***r full spectrum doula of mixed Japanese & European ancestry. They support folks throughout the reproductive continuum (fertility, birth, postpartum, abortion, and loss) and offer herbal care, meal preparation, and folk styles of bodywork.
