School House Teaching Supplies & Books is a local independent bookstore offering children’s books (board books to YA), diverse & Indigenous titles, classroom supplies, STEM toys, Montessori materials, board games, and school book fairs. We carry educational materials, games, toys and one of the largest selections of children’s books in both English and French. Our staff consists of qualified teachers and kid’s book specialists. It’s been an amazing 41 years and we’re so excited to make it even more!

COVID-19 hit us all hard but we persevered with curbside pickup, shipping materials and masking in store!

We’ve been so lucky to have Lovely Sidhu as the owner since 2019!! 7 years ago, which feels forever ago and no time at all.

Since we made our big move in March 2023 we’ve welcomed old shoppers and many new shoppers into the store.

Forever grateful for your support, we wouldn’t be here without it ❤️📚
