A batch of Crocus Pocus, showing it start to finish (with some speeding up of the video!). We pour the dye into the water and let it spread until everything is a deep purple. The undyed yarn gets put in and we work it through by hand. Periodically we come back to press it down and move it around again, and by the end the yarn has taken up the colour and the water is clear.

“Smashing Gourds” is here for fall.

Inspired by the turning of the leaves, variegated colourway Smashing Gourds is the embodiment of a true autumn palette.

Available in merino [fi*****ng, DK, worsted, bulky,] and mohair bases.

Just in time for fall, two new colourways have gone up for sale on Wild Woollys’ store: Crocus Pocus and Obsidian Nights.

Both colours are available in a range of our bases: Fi*****ng, Worsted, DK, Bulky and Mohair+Silk.

Crocus Pocus is a pretty periwinkle. It’s another milestone colourway, born from our continued adventures into semi-solids. We’re really excited to share it with you!

Obsidian Nights is a deep charcoal. Going this dark is a relatively new colour journey for us, and we’re happy to bring this one out with plenty of time to spare before Halloween.

In addition to the merino bases you know and love, we are proud to introduce another base which launches with Carnation Street and will soon be rolled out to other colourways:

A mohair-silk blend for special projects that require something even softer and lacier.

A blend of 64% kid mohair and 36% Grade A mulberry silk.

Look for this mohair-silk blend to become available in more select colourways throughout the summer.
