Yuquot calling! Chris and Helen took a trip Nootka Island, visiting close friends who keep the light at this remote Canadian Coast Guard station. Two float plane legs (Cessna in, De Havilland Beaver out) got us there and back, with the gorgeous inlet coastline putting on a show the whole way. 🛩️⛰️

We walked the beach with the lighthouse keepers, and learned about the Mowachaht/Muchalaht. We also explored and admired the local art inside the historic church.

Naturally, our True North Trackers came along for the ride: Beaver Dude, Otter Gal, Gordy Goose and Cougar Annie!

Hiking memories! Mrs Landsharkz and WestCoast Navigator took a fun tiki trackable to Cape Scott Provincial Park, to the end of the trail and the farthest reach of Vancouver Island.

Photos are as follows:
