the yard and landscape that you’ve always wanted. The lawn turf and products we supply in our bins are sourced locally within a 100km radius. Our goal is to not just provide products for your lawns and yards that are designed or created to thrive in our local environment. This is the difference we offer over those providing generic, all North-America focus products. By providing a local source for these products and the knowledge to go with them, we help cut down on the multiple trips required to further away depots. By providing products, such as those with drought tolerance, we help our local environment with water-saving measures.

IS YOUR LAWN DEAD — OR JUST DORMANT?
After a long stretch of dry summer weather, plenty of Greater Victoria lawns are looking pretty rough.
But brown grass doesn’t necessarily mean dead grass.
Many established lawns naturally slow down and go dormant during hot, dry conditions. The grass may look brown above ground while the crown and roots remain alive and ready to recover once cooler weather and moisture return.
So before tearing everything out, take a closer look.
If portions of the lawn really are damaged, late summer and early fall are also a good time to start planning repairs, topdressing, overseeding or replacing damaged sections with fresh turf.

Not every summer project involves flowers.
Sometimes the real goal is fixing a muddy pathway, improving drainage, creating a solid base or finally finishing the area beside the shed.
