Sept 21 was my last post!
We’ll update, it’s the end of the hunting season, let’s get indoor archery swinging!

2022, a season that tried me, tested me, and almost pushed me over my limit. Priority 9 for a moose in our zone, I’ve been chasing 2 55” moose around for 3 months. With no avail, I walked 7km tracking this moose before the shot was taken. Checking s**t piles, checking prints, following and following. This young bull made the mistake of stopping in a clearing and the rest was history! Shot, and tagged within 20yards. Thank you Bull, as you will provide many meals for me and my family!

Huge thanks to the Lawson family for the recovery tractor, the barn and the countless hours and phone calls about moose! Appreciate you guys!

As I sit here and cut meat up by myself at the table, I ponder 2023. All general, all year! No draws. Maybe next year I will get my first bull elk ever! 🤔
