Twice they decorated and twice it rained. ☔ Just wanted to give a shout out to the tenants on Victoria Street which is on today's Homecoming parade route for their cheery chalk creativity.

Some memories for Homecoming weekend. The building my store is in has been in the McNab family for a long long time. David McNab (pictured) and his family still appreciate and are careful to preserve the unique features of this historic building.

Alexander Eugene McNab was a practicing lawyer in the late 1800s. He had 2 sons who also became lawyers. John Walter McNab (1914-1979) was called to the Bar in 1937 and worked with his older brother, Alexander Joseph (Micky) McNab in Walkerton at the law firm McNab & McNab. The family owned both the corner building and the adjoining one to the east as well as several other properties on the main street.

There are very few photos of this block on Durham St. E. but I did find these showing some of the changing stores over the years. Previous to A&R Music, the location was home to Flowers by Usss for years.
