Thanks for stopping by! My husband Sheldon and I (Julie) have found a passion with building and creating things with wood. He does a lot of the cutting while I put the items together and sand, stain and finish them. We try our best to get the perfect piece of wood for your piece. But keep in mind that the knotts, grains, cracks etc add to the beauty of the wood. It gives it that extra rustic look.

The wood we use is natural and organic. So please remember 2 things. 1) Every piece of wood will absorb the stain differently. So each piece could vary slightly in colour. 2) When you get a piece in your home it may shrink (dry, cold weather) or bow. We would love to be able to prevent that but for some reason I think it adds to the uniqueness and life of that piece. When purchasing furniture or placing a custom order we do require a 40% deposit. Half my life I’ve been loving you, and I still feel so lucky to have you by my side. Together, we’re building a beautiful life with our boys, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

This is our first time being out there, and it did not disappoint! Beautiful outdoors, amazing restaurant and a relaxing rooftop pool/hot tub. Plus so much more. The resort is so good!

I’m sad that summer is coming to an end so quickly. I’m not ready for the boys to go back to school, I want to keep going on adventures with them!

One baseball season is almost done and soon onto another. With all the dirt and stains from those intense games, laundry can be a nightmare. But these detergent strips from have been a lifesaver! They are so handy, especially when traveling for tournaments. They take up no room in your suitcase and work wonders on those dirty baseball uniforms. Trust me, it’s the best investment you can make to keep those jerseys looking brand new!

This is one of those moments that I definitely couldn’t not share with you!
Surprising my sister with a 40th surprise party, and I got to be in charge of the decorations. Dreams.
It was so fun to brainstorm, plan and then put it all together.
It came together better than I had imagined. I had an amazing group of ladies (plus my dad) helping put it all together and making it look so dreamy.

Now to plan the next one! 😁

Have you ever done Las Vegas with kids?!

This is the first time we’ve done it with them, and it was amazing. I never realised how much there is to do as a family.
Don’t get me wrong, there is lots geared towards the adults. BUT there is a ton to do for the younger ones as well.

It’s December and it feels like October. Anyone else having a hard time getting ready for the holidays??

This warm weather has not helped me in getting all the holiday baking done. I had a slight panic moment this morning thinking of all that I need to do before Christmas. So I’m coming to you guys for some help.

What’s your favourite/go to holiday baking ? I need some ideas please please please please ♥️

Love is in the air 🫶🏻

Last weekend we had the honour of attending our nephew’s wedding. We got to witness the sweetest ceremony between him and his beautiful bride, enjoyed an amazing lunch and then lots of laughs during the reception. It was an absolutely perfect day that was full of love. So happy for the newlyweds.

Now this weekend we get to celebrate two more newlywed couples. I don’t know if my heart will be able to take it 🥺💓💗

It seemed like we were just babies when we got married. But what a good decision that was. It’s lead us to so many amazing years.

Well summer, it’s been a slice.

We finished off our amazing summer in the beautiful province of BC. The mountains, the sunshine, the blue waters, and the awesome friends to share it with, made for an epic holiday. (I’ll do a couple reels highlighting where we went and what we did).

It was the cherry on top of a wonderful summer. Feeling incredibly thankful that we were able to enjoy it so thoroughly.

Now to get into a school, sports and music routine.
First day of school starts tomorrow! Are you ready for it? Are your kids excited? Or do you “want summer holidays to continue.
