Hey! It's me with a big announcement...this is a really tough one.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce that we are closing our retail location effective July 30th.

The last years have been full of challenges, ups and downs, surprises, heartache and worry as many small business owners can attest to! BUT in the midst of it all I cannot help but feel SO blessed beyond measure because of each of You! You have been supportive and have kept me SO busy, even working around the clock many nights...and I am very grateful!!!

This local support all lead to a point where every business owner wants to be....I needed to expand out of my tiny space and into something much much larger, so that I could go from being a "one girl band" on a daily basis to a team player with staff. Unfortunately, the impacts of Covid made this extremely difficult as costs continued to rise in all aspects of the flower industry, and an affordable & suitable location was not available in Waterford. I continued to burn the candle at both ends waiting for the opportunity, but it didn't come. This lead to this heartbreaking decision.

I want to thank you each from the very bottom of my heart for the role you've allowed me to play in your lives. You've given me the privilege of sitting with you and holding your hand on the darkest of days, cheering with you and having your back on the best of days, being your ally in cheering up a friend or wishing your dearest loved ones the happiest of celebrations. I am honoured!!!
Many of you don't know this, but delivering the flowers and meeting the Recipient was my favourite part! The joy that would beam from your loved ones face or the tears they would cry as they exclaimed "those are the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen" was so rewarding. YOU made them feel loved.

Today I began to tear down my workspace and I reread the stacks of "thank you" cards you have sent. It brought to mind as well all of your calls, voicemails & texts. I even recalled how you would make a lengthy drive just to pop in and say "thank you" or text on & after your Wedding Day! It seemed I always received these messages just when I needed that extra dose of encouragement!

I'm so sad to say for now I have to hit the "pause" button. Pausing for some restorative healing.
Keep on being the amazing people you are Waterford & Norfolk, and keep loving the world through flowers!
