Life and business update 💛
You may have noticed we’ve been quite quiet on here since the new year. My husband and I welcomed our first child into the world. He is our everything! He’s perfect!
Learning to be parents has been challenging and so incredibly beautiful.
We also were surprised after a few weeks together that our beautiful baby boy came with a very rare genetic condition that causes great brain differences resulting in drug resistant epilepsy and neuro developmental delays. The first 6 months of his life have been a whirlwind of love, grief, some traumatic events and beautiful ones too. He is a curious boy who loves to see new things and go new places. His favourite thing in the world is trees, and he loves to cuddle. He has gone through more than any baby should ever have to go through but he continues to be the most patient, content and happy boy I know. I cannot believe his strength. There are days that he has had hundreds of seizures and he still smiles. We thank god for this miracle babe every single day and we treasure our time with him. ❤️
I have entered into motherhood in a whole different way than expected and this means that Sunday Love is going to have to take a pause while I care for our boy. I don’t know what the future holds for us but we dream of coming back to flowers when the time is right 💛
