Today encourages people to get together with friends and family and participate in a scavenger hunt. Combining aspects of competitive hunting, racing, and hide and seek, it remains a popular game and can be educational too.
Make a list of Science and Nature related items for kids to gather or photograph. After the hunt, take time to discuss the items. We carry a range of hand magnifiers that can be great tools for such an occasion while also remaining beneficial for other hobbies as well.

Today is dedicated to raising awareness about how essential bees are for pollination, which is critical for the reproduction of many plants, including many of the crops we rely on. Without pollinators, we would lose a vast diversity of fruits, vegetables, seeds and other plants which contribute to the production of medicines, biofuels, fibers, and construction materials.
