We’re an official drop-off location for

Knitted and crocheted knockers are special handmade breast prostheses for people who have undergone a mastectomy or other procedures to the breast. They’re provided free of charge and lovingly crafted by volunteers.

If you’d like to make some, we have Eco Cotton (an officially approved yarn for Knitted Knockers) available in the shop, along with free patterns to get you started.

Knit or crochet a pair, then drop them off with us. We’ll take care of mailing them to Knitted Knockers Canada, where they’ll be distributed to anyone who could use one.

🎀 A little reminder: If you have breasts, check ‘em! Know what’s normal for you, get your screenings done, and talk to your health care team about any changes or concerns. Early detection can save lives!

We recommend I’m So Basic by Summer Lee - it’s a great first sock pattern! Here we’ve used it with a plain yarn, a variegated yarn, and a self-striping yarn to get different looks. We’ve even added a mini sock yarn to make a contrasting toe and a few stripes on one of the cuffs. Your imagination is the limit!

Milled in Peru and dyed in Alberta.

Limited edition sock yarn!

Our 2026 Socktoberfest sock yarn was dyed especially for us by Kitchener micro-indie dyer Alec. He dyed each skein separately, using slightly different techniques so each and every skein is unique. The colours are giving cozy, autumn vibes and we’re in love with them all 🍂 It’s hard to decide which one to pick!
