Father/son team with years of experience sharpening hockey skates for all player skill levels. Cross-grinding (for deep blade gouges) and custom blade/rocker-profiling is not available at this time, however we will advise if your blades require attention beyond our sharpening service.

I guess we are well into the hockey, ringette season and the skates need to be sharp. We realize there are alternatives out there for your skate sharpening needs. We hope we can offer that different avenue that respects your time and needs.
We have done skates last minute before 8:00am and as late as 10:30pm to assist those with emergency needs. We are available typically 7 days a week if you need us.
Drop off and pick up later, or let us know the time that works best and we can do your skates while you wait.

Wow, a heat wave!!! Hockey season?? Holy smokes , I didn’t get my kids skate sharpened and it’s 8:00pm. He’s on the ice in the morning. Don’t despair. Text me at 250-801-8600. Specky’s Skate Sharpening to the rescue.
We have been at your service for almost 10 years now and have sharpened skates at the strangest hours. Let us make sure your child or you hit the ice with freshly sharpened skates. Drop off and pick up or on the spot sharpening if needed.

Nothing cooler than walking into a rink to play hockey with flip flops, shorts and a t-shirt.

Well it’s that time of the year for my sunshine sabbatical. My son will be handling the sharpening in my absence but unfortunately his schedule may not be as flexible as mine.
