POV: it’s the final week of my biweekly flower subscriptions and the garden understood the assignment. 🌸

Two days of cutting for this week’s subscriber bouquets and I’m not even remotely mad about the abundance.
This is what homegrown, seasonal flowers look like — armfuls of dahlias, zinnias, snaps, gladiolas, basil, foliage and whatever else decided to show off this week.
And honestly? Watching these bouquets go out to the same people every two weeks has been one of my favourite parts of growing flowers. 🥹

Apparently the secret to growing ridiculously oversized pears is… ducks. 🦆🍐

They splash in the water.
They fertilize the garden.
They create absolute chaos.
And somehow, I end up with pears the size of a toddler’s head.

This is what happens when you let the garden, the animals, the flowers and the chaos all work together.

Follow if you like your gardening with a side of poultry, questionable decisions, and unapologetically ridiculous flowers & produce.

And yes, I’m absolutely taking credit for the pear. 🍐
