Thelma's Twisted Treasures is owned by three sisters, Belinda, Kim and Valerie, who are carrying on their late mother's crafty tradition of making the old new again. While the sisters didn't have much growing up, they could always count on their mother to make something out of nothing, without even a pattern to go on. Thelma has inspired her daughters and granddaughters to repurpose vintage or forgotten finds into beautiful new creations. Her memory is honoured on every item with a hidden picture of her striking her signature pose - sticking her tongue out. New items are constantly being added to this page, so check back often. 🌻✨ Thrifted Dreams: Creating Wedding Magic on a Budget!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a little inspiration for those planning a wedding on a budget. Thrift stores are a treasure trove of possibilities, and you can find everything you need to create your dream wedding without breaking the bank!

This summer, I used beautiful thrifted finds from the Westlake Community Thrift Shop to create stunning curtains for my wedding. From vintage fabrics and aprons to lace tablecloths, embroidered doilies, and even vintage bed sheets, each piece carries its own story and adds a unique charm to the celebration.

When you have a friend with a vision and a sewing machine, everything is possible! All of these beautiful curtains were sewn with love from my dear friend Edith, who brought my ideas to life with her creativity and skill.
