Our family is growing!

We’re so thrilled to finally be sharing the news that the local online shop, , started by Minna in 2017, will officially be joining the Mouton Royal family as of August 8, 2022. With this in mind, you can expect to see a new, more functional website being launched and new brands in store. Minna and Loren share the same ethos in operating their shops and have worked hard to ensure our values are respected. Mouton Royal looks forward to welcoming new and returning customers alike.

In equally exciting news, we’re happy to announce that Loren and her husband Brian welcomed a new baby earlier this year. Thank you for your patience and support as we learn to adapt to ever changing demands and schedules.

Whenever we eat out, which isn’t often, I always bring a bag of tricks with me 🤹This week’s outing called for these stacking stars. They kept my 4 and 2.5 year old entertained by sorting colours, stacking, and lining up the stars. We ate on a strip of Bernard that was closed to traffic so they were free(ish) to wander. Highly recommend!

This week marks the start of pride month - a celebration of life, love, inclusion and diversity. We stand in unwavering support of our LGBTQIA2+ community.

The mandate of Pride this year seems especially potent after what feels like an endless stream of devastating news. The discovery of the remains of 215 Indigenous CHILDREN has not only gutted us, but has highlighted that Canada’s colonialist past is not yet behind us, especially as we await news of more bodies yet to be unearthed. This atrocity comes on the tail of an extreme increase in anti-semitic attacks which affects this Jewish business owner and her family deeply. Last summer’s Black Lives Matter protests were eye opening as years of abuse and systemic racism came to light. More atrocities are ongoing worldwide than we can name.

We are human first, business second, but seek to use this platform for good. We stand with all marginalized groups and are learning how to be able to support them all.

I promise to teach my children to love your children. Happy Pride, friends.

Their non gender specific products are mindfully crafted from their ingredients to their processes to their packaging. We especially love this mud mask - the kind of mask we’re happy to put on our faces these days ☺️
