Ever have one of those days where you set your alarm for 7:07am.. which is already offensively early, because you sewed until 1am the night before, so you give yourself a little extra time in the morning… Only to accidentally turn your alarm OFF and wake up at 8:25 AM when you’re supposed to be AT THE MARKET BY 8:30?!
Yeah me neither, can’t relate
Soooo anyway if you saw a woman sprinting into the market this morning with an armful of scrunchies, absolutely no idea what was happening, and the general look of someone who had just survived a natural disaster.. hay haaaay 👋🏻

Aaanywho.. happy market day folks
Come say hi until 1pm!

As we reflect on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, wearing orange is a powerful reminder that Every Child Matters, and supporting youth leadership is key to building a brighter future 🧡

To help turn awareness into action, I’m selling these orange scrunchies and donating half of all proceeds to help youth from Pictou Landing First Nation attend an upcoming leadership initiative in Banff! This is an incredible opportunity to connect with other Indigenous youth, learn, experience new things, build relationships, and create memories they’ll carry with them for years to come

Pricing: ✨ $10 each or 3 for $25

Where to get yours: 🛒 I will have lots with me tomorrow at the New Glasgow Farmers Market from 9am-1pm

Come by, say hi, grab a scrunchie, and help support these amazing youth!

Saw a post that said “Dolly Parton wrote ‘Jolene’ & ‘I Will Always Love You’ on the same day, you can do that little chore that’s been paralyzing you for two weeks.”
I moved into a beautiful new home on June 15 and somehow couldn’t find the will to even plug my sewing machine in, let alone sit down and sew. But after reading those words, I immediately set up my machine and made these scrunchies.. this fabric seemed more than fitting✨🎀💄🪕🤍
Rest in peace, Dolly. What a beautiful legacy you’ve left behind. I hope you’re up there pouring yourself a BIG cup of ambition right now. Thank you for the inspiration today, and for a lifetime of reminding us to dream big, work hard, and add a little sparkle to everything ✨
