Turning Timber is a small family business in Whitby, Ontario, Canada that has grown out of our passion for our woodworking and card making hobbies. After several years of making gifts and cards for family and friends, we were encouraged to set up a small business to sell our gifts. I create the one of a kind gifts from wood and acrylic. My wife, Heather Parsons focuses on our paper creations inclu

ding greeting cards and boxes. After a successful career in the corporate IT world, I decided to start a new chapter and turn my lifelong passion and hobby in woodworking and woodturning into my next career. All of our turned products, greeting cards and boxes are handmade in our home based workshop. Gifts are made from various wood species including maple, walnut, zebra wood, mango and upcycled wine barrels. Many of our products are made from multi-coloured acrylics. Products made with kits use various metal plating’s including chrome, gun metal, gold and stainless steel. We offer handmade cards and gift boxes to go with the turned products for customers to buy the full package for gift giving. The goal is to create a one stop shop to simplify the gift giving process for customers.

It’s that time again, it’s time for the awesome Eastdale Craft Show!!! This show is huge and has something for everyone. We are here today and tomorrow from 10-4:30. It’s the annual fundraiser for the school! Always near and dear to my heart from our fundraising work for my band in high school! 💕

I don’t know where the time goes!!! We are so excited to be a part of our favourite market again this year!! It’s almost time for the Tyrone Holiday Market such incredible artisans at the market! Come out for a nice drive this Saturday and see the remaining fall colours!!! Located at the Tyrone Community Centre 😀💕
