A needle, some thread, and a little patience. 🪡💙

Here’s one quiet minute of making a journal by handsewing a signature, a small group of folded sheets that will become part of the finished book.

I love this part. There’s a rhythm to pulling the thread through, watching the pages come together, and imagining what someone might one day create on them.

If you’re new around here, this is the story behind Relics & Ribbons, and the person behind all those old books, ribbons, watercolour pages and little bits of magic.

I’ve always been drawn to things with a history, especially old books that have already lived a life. Relics & Ribbons is my way of giving some of those books a new chapter.
