Sometimes the best thing is to simply let beautiful things have a little more time. 🤍

Rather than adding something new this week, I’m giving the journals already in the shop a little room to linger.

There are still some lovely pieces waiting to find their person, including journals from the Cranford Collection and a few favourites from earlier chapters.

Each one began with a vintage book that caught my eye for one reason or another, and each has been slowly taken apart, rebuilt and given a new life as a journal.

So this week, no new drop. Just a chance to look again at what’s already here.

Perhaps one you passed by the first time will catch your eye this time around. 🌿

Some books start a story before you ever open them. 🌿

This copy of Pride and Prejudice was that book for me.

I spotted this beautiful peacock-covered edition first, fell completely in love with it, and then started searching for other titles from the same Cranford Collection. One book slowly became a little stack…and eventually inspired an entire Relics & Ribbons collection.

And rather wonderfully, the one that started it all is still here.

Now transformed into a handmade journal, its beautiful original cover has been given a new purpose while keeping everything that made me stop and notice it in the first place.

There is so much care that goes into giving each old book a new life, so hearing that care is felt when a journal arrives in its new home is incredibly special.
