An Edmonton resident just casually pocketed $2 million in contracts from the RCMP and the Department of National Defence — you know, the people theoretically in charge of not handing taxpayer money to people with interesting résumés.
Turns out “Sal Ghafouri” is actually Mohammad Reza Ghafouri Fard, son of Iran’s former vice president, and according to CSIS he’s the same guy who helped develop missile systems for the IRGC and didn’t particularly care that the work was sanctioned. Canada’s security screening apparently works on a “flag him, then hire him anyway” model. Because nothing says national security like paying the missile guy to shop for your borescope.

I received a phone call on Friday morning asking if the store was permanently closed, since that’s what was showing up on Google maps. I told the caller we were open at 12 o’clock business as usual, and when I opened my Google maps profile it had changed our hours “permanently closed”

Then later a colleague on Twitter informed me that a Reddit post had been made on r/owensound Friday announcing the closure of Big Bay General Store, so what happened is that a group of taxpayer assisted Redditors, many of their accounts disclosing their long list of psychotropic medications, decided to band together and mass report my business to try and cause financial harm. But Redditors are Wile E coyote, and I’m the roadrunner.

Yesterday’s name change was providential and had nothing to do with the FAKE Reddit closure, I decided to change the name in the morning, and then my friend informed me about the Reddit post and the sabotage later in the afternoon.

We also looked into several of the posters in the Reddit “community” and by their post history it is very obvious who these people are and if they keep up their defamation then I will bring their identities and commentary into the public

Tamara “the terrorist sympathizer” Sargent is a City Council candidate running in the Owen Sound upcoming municipal election on October 26th 2026.

Tamara Sargent writes “Oct 7th was very much like Sept 11. F**k Israel and F**k America”, where she mocks both the largest terrorist attack on US soil killing 2,977 Americans and 1,195 Israelis killed in the largest mass murder of Jews since the Holocaust with an additional 250 taken hostage.

Tamara Sargent wants to see this terrorism spread across the world as she states, “globalize the intifada and dismantle the Zionist entity”, which would result in the death of nearly 10 million Israelis.

Tamara Sargent denies both r**e & murderous atrocities took place during the October 7th terrorist attacks, downplaying the designated terrorist group Hamas as simply “resistance fighters” and Hezbollah as “defense” from Israel.

Despite growing antisemitism in her province & country, Tamara Sargent believes it is just “the false weaponization of antisemitism” and references synagogue shootings on Jewish institutions as “a false flag attack” done by Jews themselves.
