It’s that time of year again!
Are you a business in the downtown core that would like to be on the Trick r Treat map? Reach out to us!

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year so we’re running the event from 2pm to 5pm. Business sign up is $40 to help pay for the full page ads and map printing costs. The sign up link will go live on our website Sunday morning! You can expect to see from 200-500 trick or treaters. If your business is further out from the rest, you’ll be on the low end. If you’re close to a bunch on the map, you’ll be towards the high end!

With the Downtown Trick r Treat coming up, we’d like to give a few gentle reminders:
🦇 Parents, PLEASE let your kids know that not every location gives out candy. Some give small toys, books, pencils, water bottles (I personally love that one) and more! Children sometimes get disappointed when they receive a toy or book instead of candy, but LOTS of locations still give out sweets 🙂
🎃 There are no passports/stamps this year! This way we can open it up to more businesses 🙂
👻 Stores can close at their regular times. We will put all the closing times next to the store name. We will still be open until 6pm. Instead of a prizes for the passport, we will do a colouring contest
🕷 Although we’re firm believers in trick r treating should be for all ages, this event gets extremely costly to businesses, so we ask that our trick r treaters stick to school (including high school) aged children.
