Ever wonder what some people do with their flowers after their big day? ...Some get dried, pressed, cast in resin, shared on loved ones grave stones, put into clear Xmas ornaments, taken to retirement homes, fill a bath tub and do a photo shoot to present the other on the first anniversary, just tossed out, ... or simply shared with friends, like this sweet fur baby who seems quite pleased to smile and strike a pose. I'm blessed and grateful to have played a creative part for Munraj & Sonia Hothi's big union & celebration, filling the town with family and friends and joy from all over.
( I'm sharing some 'behind-the-scenes' personal phone pics along with Laureen Carruthers Photography's jaw dropping dreamy wedding shots . Perfection! ..I mean, ... Just LOOK at this couple.

Finally got a minute for pics I've been dying to share and a peek at last weekend's beautiful sunflower wedding in Alexis Creek. What a lovely couple! Lucky too, ...as their ceremony and the photos fit nicely between the rain storms! A little 'behind-the-scenes' of one of Saturday's weddings. The ceremony had sweeping views, a brooding dramatic sky, and a whimsy of colourful wildflowers. The reception was my 2nd time at 'the ever so sweet venue The Barn'. It's history and charm are so thoughtfully preserved in it's renovations. ( Will share more when they are ready for a reveal. 💗)

The Heart throb showing up at weddings worldwide this year is the stately Calla Lily, with it's 80's vibe enjoying a big comeback. It pairs beautifully with flowing Amaranthus.... a 2026 twist that adds a romantic softness.
(I Got to be a part of the sweet debut event at 'The barn', a new small venue in Esler. News n views when I get their info. You're going to Love it! )
