Iman Youssef is the founder and owner of both Amour Fragrances and Best Canadian Liquidation in Mississauga, Ontario. As an Arab-Canadian woman, she has faced much adversity and strife while on her path to becoming a successful business owner and entrepreneur. By overcoming the most difficult of barriers that an immigrant women must tackle in Canada, Iman has proven to be a strong contender in the retail industry. Iman was born and raised in the midst of a civil war in her native land of Lebanon. Despite the hardship and warfare that surrounded her, she never lost her determination for education and success. Her persistence and strong will led her to complete both an Accounting Diploma and Master’s Degree in International Liason & Communication from the University of Westminster in England. Iman began her career by selling fragrances and beauty supplies to friends and family. By 2003, she opened BCL and once again seized the opportunity for expansion in 2012 by opening Amour Fragrances in Windsor. Throughout her business pursuits and journey to success, Iman has never forgotten her humble beginnings and always put her family first. Although her seven siblings are located all over the globe, she still keeps in close contact with all of them. Iman is also married and the mother of two wonderful sons. She is fluent in English, Arabic and also Sign Language.
