I love our beautiful country and I am very proud to be Canadian. I chose this great land to start a new life 27 years ago and I never looked back, just put forward my best effort to earn the priviledge to call Canada my home. In moments like this, when I'm just amazed at the diversity and vastness of my new home, I do need to go back to my roots, so that I can comprehend the extraordinary experience. So, here is a fun fact - the distance we traveled from Windsor to Winnipeg, 2227 kms, is just a little larger than the distance between my birth place in Macedonia and Paris, France, 2212 kms. Over there, I would have needed a passport and would have crossed many borders. And here, all we need is the love for our country and willingness to explore its beauty. ❤

Good morning, Friends 🙂 Yesterday we traveled from Thunder Bay to Winnipeg, and we loved every single moment! The weather went from cloudy to rainy to sunny, back to cloudy and sunny, and then we arrived in beautiful Winnipeg at dusk. Today we have a day off, and we will spend it exploring and resting. Work starts tomorrow by setting up the booth and attending the Quilt Canada awards ceremony. And then on Thursday, let the show begin! ❤

Good morning, Friends. We are leaving Thunder Bay and heading to Winnipeg. This road trip is amazing, we are very glad we chose this over flying. We are already thinking a road trip to Quilt Canada in Calgary next year 🙂 What better way to use our vacation time 🙂

Day 3 - Thunder Bay. The morning was chilly, rainy and foggy but then the weather got nicer as we drove up. We are simply stunned by the scenery of Northern Ontario. We are so grateful to be able to call our beautiful Canada home ❤ I had one of my "proud to be Canadian" moments ❤️ We are heading to Winnipeg tomorrow. Have a good night, Friends 🙂

Beautiful ride on the ferry and through the island. Part of my heart stayed in Manitoulin Island, the serenity is just divine ❤️❤️❤️ Now we are back on mainland and done for the day. John even picked me some wild flowers, like the true gentleman he is ❤️ This trip is truly very special, and we are so very grateful to be able to enjoy our beautifu, breathtaking North.
