I would like to THANK all of you for making our Celebration of Life successful. If it wasn’t for Sandy. I would email her and she would email Michelle. A lot of credit goes to Michelle for all her emails, texting who’s coming and what we needed.I think I drove her nuts. I want to thank Aaron and the mall for letting my joke turn to reality.Thank you generous Sears employees for your contributions. Thank you for showing up.We definitely are family.Thank you to habitat for humanity and Wayne the BBQ chef.To Hope,Pam, Angie,Terry for all your help. Special thanks to Rick for set up,cutting cake and did running around.Thanks to Ginette and Kelly loyal Sears employees.Carol for her media participation. Hot dog sales $785. Donations $205. 80 bricks sold. If you didn’t get one customer service in the mall will have them. It would be a great stocking stuffer, but I think it might wreck your sock. Crunch time Sears people. Our bbq is this Saturday from 12 to 3 in the Sears parking lot near Howard and the Expressway.
Selling bricks from the building for $20. They are labeled and numbered. Only 1000 will be sold. Proceeds go to Windsor Regional Hospital and Habitat for Humanity.
Come out and prove the best part about Sears was always the people.

Update:
We have a raindate of September 7th.
The bricks are being sold for $20 each with the proceeds going to charity.
Please RSVP only if you plan to eat at the BBQ. Everyone is welcome so bring spouses, friends but mostly bring all the employees we knew and loved.

SEARS CELEBRATION OF LIFE UPDATE
Here's the latest.

IT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE BUILDING HAS COME DOWN FOR SECURITY AND SAFETY. Thus the celebration of life.

Date: August 24th
Time: 12pm to 3pm
Location: Former Employee Entrance Side

Please bring lawn chairs.
Please wear any Sears clothing you may still have from Sears Days shirts to the whimsical attire we were forced to wear! It'll be fun to see what is still out there.

Donations have been made of all the Hotdogs, Buns and condiments.
Donations of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Water have also been made.

We need donations of Sprite or 7up as well as the mini bags of chips. We are looking for a few cases of each.

Hotdog, pop and chips $5 with all proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity

Please RSVP by Aug 10 ONLY if you are planning to eat.

Bricks will be available from the Sears building at a cost to be determined later. First come first served.

Hi my Sears gang! It's been a long time since I've had something to pass along.

We're having a "Celebration of Life" for Sears.

So far a bbq is being planned in the 4 to 6 week range from now. Proceeds go to a charity (yet to be determined)

Everything is up in the air but we want you to know this is coming.

Please start telling two friends!

We're having a get together this spring. It is June 3rd. at Lake Erie Country Club. 1pm to 5pm. Bring your own drinks and a munchie you share. Bring lawn chairs. Car pooling is advisable. Please comment your rsvp so we have an idea of who is coming.
It is on Lake Erie Country Club Drive, off Lakeside Dr near Holiday Beach.
