Two great concerts today. Go to Lanspeary Park in Windsor to hear the Windsor Optimist Youth Band, then head to Sonia's in Leamington for an Orchestral Evening of classics, opera, and Mexican music!!

Brazing an A/D ring key back together 🔥
Sometimes you can order parts. Sometimes you can't. In nice instances like this, the school had both parts of the broken key in the case, which made my job much easier!

Brazing vs Soft Soldering
- brazing is a permanent weld, done with silver solder and a higher heat. Used when keys break, parts are made, etc
- soft soldering is done with a solder that can be heated to melt again for a non-permanent bond. It's done at braces and joints where you want to be able to take the instrument apart again
