T H A N K Y O U

I’m not quite sure how to explain this. I really do think no one will show up to my pop-ups. Then, when you do, I’m just so overwhelmed with a zillion emotions.

Someone came up to me this weekend and said, “I want to thank you for creating an atmosphere of girlhood, where you can hear women telling other women how great they look.” Not only did I instantly start tearing, I thought to myself, “That’s it. That’s why I do this.” If I can be a conduit of something where women gather and feel great about the bodies they are in, well, what a privilege that is.

I do tell myself every collection that this one will be my last, that it’s not worth the effort or financial risk. Then, when I see all of you laughing, chatting, loving the pieces and how you look in them, I find myself waving goodbye to you after yelling, “See you at the next one!” So thank you for literally being the reason I continue to do it.

If what you wanted was sold out when you came, I’m so sorry, please don’t hate me. 😂

I count on one hand how many times I’ve been left speechless. As you know, I ALWAYS have something to say 😂.

Every time I curate a collection, I tell myself it’s my last. I convince myself no one is going to show up, the financial risk is not worth it, and mostly I ask myself, “Why on earth does a dentist tell herself she can have a fashion retail online shop with pop-ups only twice a year. Like who do I think I am?”

Time and time again you all give me the love and confidence to continue to reach for my dreams. It is because of you that I can be a dentist who does fashion. Never in my wildest dreams could I imagine walking in my city and seeing someone wearing something from my shop. It’s just wild.

I’ve got a few more goodies left before I close down the website and shop till August so grab them (and pick them up) before Monday!

Thank you will never be enough.

Hey, hey! I think it's about time I settle some things once and for all. So here it is, FINALLY - what I do:

Nayna
Nayna is a women's online apparel boutique I started in 2020.
The idea was to curate collections that comprise of staples that you can MAXIMIZE!
Purchasing a piece from Nayna means "loving thyself.”
*FACT: My name, Sunayna is Indian in origin meaning beautiful eyes. I named my shop after myself using the last part of my name, Nayna. NO ONE calls me Nayna so if you've called me Nayna, don't feel bad at all, I don't mind and didn't correct you, but now you know 😂.
*FACT: The name of the shop is Nayna, not Shop Nayna. When I launched the Instagram handle Nayna was already taken, so I had to use .

House of Nayna
I came up with House of Nayna in 2018 in a hotel room in Vancouver at a dental conference, true story.
I wanted to make the everyday gal FEEL amazing in the body they have NOW by making personal shopping accessible to anyone on any budget.
I came up with MAXIMIZING because I saw so many women I knew only wear their clothes in one way in one season. What a waste.
If you go shopping with me I will laugh so hard it may hurt your ears, I will cry because I am so happy for you, and I will tell you the truth in the most loving, brutally honest way - just ask my past clients.
FACT: I wanted to be Stacey London from What Not To Wear so badly when I was in school.

Niverville Heritage Dental Centre
I'm a dentist and have been for more than a decade (I'm old). I adore being a dentist. Even more, I adore what I have built in Niverville. My all-female team is the best and my patients are the best.
I wrote my first children's book, Aanya Goes to the Dentist last year to prepare children for their dental visit.
FACT: I love teeth and fashion equally.

An all time favourite of yours and mine- the button up. I’ve always made it my mission to find and include a high quality, SOFT, button up that will add instant versatility to your wardrobe, not to mention its uber chic.

Lucky for you, I’ve got two in this collection. A cream, gauzy cotton button up that will easily take you from work to the beach, and a grey, smooth one with a long enough length to tuck or unbutton and wear out. You’re welcome.
