Two-step stamping is so quick and easy!

I used the detail stamp and stamped my leaves in black ink...then filled in the color with the fill-in stamps- quick, easy, and oh so pretty!

Our Global Design Project challenge this week was a colour challenge… We were to use Hydeangea Hue, Soft Seafoam, and Peaceful Pine.

I chose to showcase these colours with the Painted Pumpkins and Radiant Gems.

Kinda funky but I love how it turned out. A little ink blending…a little colouring…

Last night I hosted Mystery Stamping.

If you are not familiar, this is where I give a supply list with cutting measurements. You choose the colors and the stamps etc.

I give you step by step clues to create your card.

This is so much fun and all the cards turn out so different.

Here is a group picture of what we created as well as close ups of the individual cards and who created them.

Show them some love 💕 in the comment sections!

Love What You Do

Wow Tip: How Does Your Garden Glow?

This pretty paper sunflower only looks tricky to make, and here’s our secret: Scalloped Blooms Dies (167646)!

They let you create a fancy, frilly posy in no time. We used Golden Glow Cardstock to make ours—just use a few careful snips and some creatively wrapped twine help it come to life.

Tip: You can also make this using Designer Series Paper or stamped cardstock. Imagine the garden of cute possibilities. Plus, unlike the real thing, these flowers will last!

Step 1: Die cut two medium, non-stitched edge scallop blooms from Golden Glow Cardstock. Die cut each piece again to separate the scallops into individual points—simply turn your die just a bit as shown here.

Step 2: Using scissors, cut between each section toward the center, stopping 1" from the middle. Repeat all the way around both bloom circles.

Step 3: Die cut the smallest non-stitched edge scallop bloom from Early Espresso Cardstock. Cut 55" (140 cm) of baker’s twine. Leaving a 3" (7.6 cm) tail, begin creating a spiral design by weaving from one center point across to another. Continue until the spiral is complete, then secure the ends on the back.

Optional Finishing

Add Old Olive ink to a wood skewer using a Blending Brush.
Hand cut a leaf shape.

Stamp a sentiment on a Basic White Cardstock die-cut tag.
Thread ribbon through the tag.

Assemble the flower layers using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Today I am sharing my spin on this week's Global Design Project challenge #560. We were asked to CASE (copy and selectively edit) the camera card.

I chose to flip the sketch from landscape to portrait.
I chose to use three stencils to create my background.
I used Balmy Blue ink and the water stencil first.
I used Secret Sea ink and the diamond stencil next.
I used Strawberry Slush and the heart stencil next.
I trimmed this down to 4 x 5 1/4 and added to a standard Secret Sea card base.
Next I stamped the octopus and the balloon. I used circle dies to cut out the octopus and the Strawberry Slush mat layer. I fussy cut the balloon and string.
Next I stamped the greeting and matted it on Secret Sea to make it stand out.
Once assembled I added Wink of Stella to the hearts, balloon, and the octopus.
Finally I added the hilarious googly eyes to the octopus.
How fun is this card! Makes me smile.

Today I wanted to share with you a new bundle coming in September called Elegant Leaves. This is a fabulous bundle for fall!

I have only used the stamp set for my card today creating this gorgeous colourful background. Here is how I made it:

Card base: Crushed Curry: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2
Card liner: Basic White : 4 x 5 1/4
Front mat: Basic Black: 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
Focal image: Basic White:3 3/4 x 5
Tag mat: Basic Black: 3x5/8
Tag: Basic White: 3x1/2

Instructions:
1. Fold the card base on the score line and furnish it flat using a bone folder.
2. Add the card liner to the inside of the card.
3. Add the black mat to the front of the card centered.
4. Stamp the leaves as follows: largest leaf in red, medium leaf in pecan, smallest leaf in curry.
5. Add the focal panel to the black mat centered.
6. Stamp the greeting on the greeting tag using memento black ink.
7. Use scissors or paper trimmer to an angle the ends for interest.
8. Add the greeting to the black tag mat
9. His scissors or paper trimmer to ankle the ends to match.
