Papa’s been in production mode for a while, getting ready for another craft sale, in Gimli on Saturday, 1 Aug. I also have3 puzzle easels under construction for the show.

The bowl is my first attempt at using epoxy in a bowl. This is a Black Cherry bowl with epoxy in the bottom and side of the bowl.

The rustic mushrooms are made from a Saskatoon berry tree. The smooth mushrooms are a mixture of Elm and Box Elder(Manitoba Maple).

If you’re in Gimli next Saturday stop into the New Iceland Farmer’s Market, on Seventh Ave, and check out all the great booths.

A few more items for Saturday’s sale. Pray For good weather in Gimli. Fingers crossed that the rain holds off.

The vases are 8.25 x 5.5 inches and 10 x 5 inches. The shorter one is made of Walnut and Baltic Birch Plywood, while the taller one is Sapele and Baltic Birch. The taller one is also a new design. What do you think of this one?

HELP! I was asked yet again on the weekend if I had a website. I have been toying with the idea of setting one up for a while, but have no idea where to start, or if it is even worth doing.

Does anyone have suggestions about how to approach this issue. I am looking for help in the Winnipeg area.

Papa’s been busy in the workshop, preparing for the Rise Above Spectacular Spring Market, on 2 May. I have turned 6 French rolling pins(so far) and 7 tealight sets over the past few days. I still have 5 more rolling pins and 2 tealight sets to do. Then it’s on to a couple of my plywood and Sapele vases and bowls.

I am really looking forward to the Market. The market is in aid of Rise Above Bursaries, a charity that provides bursaries to single parents.
