“Beauty” is finally completed and framed. This mare was a friend’s horse from many years ago. Although the only photo available was pretty faded, I think Beauty turned out pretty good.

Here we finally have a commission that took quite some time to complete. From top left: Casey and Misty (both long since passed); and at the bottom, Rucker and Quincy. Misty especially was a challenge, as her reference photos were very old and faded.
I love making them come to life on .005 double-sided drafting film using multiple brands of coloured art pencils. ❤️🐾🐾❤️
