I’m delighted the Red-headed woodpecker is still visiting! It is sharing some of our awesome Mill Creek Suet with a Hairy woodpecker on a suet log. This suet is being eaten by so many birds like warblers, orioles, grosbeaks, and more. Such a popular food!

Here we have a perfect pair of Rose-breasted grosbeaks! These two are sharing a meal of black oil sunflower seeds on a platform feeder. What a wonderful sight and what an amazing week of birding it has been!

Another delight in the yard today! Look at these tiny Tennessee warblers who discovered the grape jelly! The lighting wasn’t great so not the best video but what a treat to have them visiting now. It’s been a great week of birding!

WOW! Now this is an exciting visitor😍 Red-headed woodpeckers have the most striking, vivid colours. An absolutely stunning bird to see and a Threatened Specie in Manitoba. So grateful to be enjoying this wonderful bird! 🙏🐦‍⬛❤️🌷

The raccoons had come in the night and had a bit of a party in my yard. Some feeders were knocked down and this beautiful Gray catbird discovered a suet cake that was laying on the ground. Look at it go! The melodic song of this bird is one of my absolute favourites even though hearing their ‘mew’type call is quite humorous!

This spectacular Red-headed woodpecker has been in my yard for the past 3 days! It is very shy so it has been difficult getting footage of it at the feeders. It has been going to my suet log and our Bug and Nut seed log. I hope your feeders are bringing you much joy as well! We are open on this holiday Monday from 11am-6pm ☺️

Rose-breasted grosbeaks are such a stunning bird❤️ I have had a few visiting over the past few days. They have been eating everything from sunflower, to oranges, and even the grape jelly! Hope you have a wonderful long weekend watching the birds, we are open all weekend, including Monday, our hours for that day will be 11 AM till 6 PM. Happy birding!
