This week we bring to you this special production sheet by the fine folks Bullseye Glass Co.. Freshly uncrated from our latest shipment, this sheet features a beautiful mix of turquoise blue and neo lavender on a white base, in a Cascade style.

This week we bring you a limited productiin sheet style fresh off the truck from the fine folks Bullseye Glass Co.

This sheet absolutely dazzles in reflected light💎 featuring not 1.... not 2.... but 3 types of aventurine! It is a lush mix of light green,dark green and blue aventurines on a clear base😍

A recent Project we wanted to share is the restoration of 12 windows for the folks over at St.Lukes Anglican Church here in Winnipeg.

We were asked to come out to the church this summer to assess their windows and provide a condition report. This will help them develop a long term restoration plan, ensuring that their lovely collection of 100+ year old windows will be preserved for many more years to come.

This year they have secured funding to have us out to remove 12 windows. My son Kole and I carefully removed them a couple of weeks ago, and over the winter they will be fully restored to like new condition. Feel free to check them out in person here at the studio, we love showing people what we are up to!

This whimsical design evokes a late summer harvest vibe. Hot off the truck,

Here is a sneak peek of the latest glass order to roll into the studio. This shipment features a jam packed crate, full of one off hand blown beauties made by the glass masters Fremont Antique Glass

This August, the family and I took a tour of the Fremont factory. We spent the entire morning watching Jim and his all star team blowing sheet glass. Next we spent 3 hours hand picking some exceptional sheets, which were expertly packed and shipped to us this week. It was like Christmas in August here at PSG!

A big thank you to the entire Fremont team for being so welcoming and for allowing us to hang out and talk shop while watching the best in the business do their thing💪💎

A recent project we wanted to share is our return to Knox United Church 2.5 hours east of us in lovely lakeside Kenora, Ontario. We were asked by the congregation to come back out and remove 4 more windows that were suffering from structural issues and general disrepair. So my son Kole and I packed up the PSG Truck and trailer and hit the road!

Unfortunately, the issue with most all of the windows in the church was caused by a well meaning but misguided glass installer who decided to thoroughly glue all of the stained glass windows in place from behind before installing upgraded exterior protective glass. This sealed the windows up, creating a greenhouse effect because no venting was installed to allow the heat and any moisture to be released. This has caused the stained glass windows to prematurely deform out of shape and is now causing the glass to break and lead came to stretch out of shape. To remove the windows we literally had to get out the glass equivalent of the "jaws of life" and cut the entire glass border away with the windows still in place to extract the windows for repair. The border could then be cut free from its "glue tomb" and will be replaced with new lead and glass, as it was not salvageable. Over the next couple of months, we will restructure the windows, as well as partially rebuild some areas that were too distorted to reclaim the lead came. Stay tuned......:)
